Newgrange Construction was hired by Deerfield Management develop former office building, 345 Park Avenue South, into a world-class life science innovation hub- complete with wet labs, prototype studios, and a rooftop conference center. Originally built in 1913, the project required a full transformation of building infrastructure and a four-story addition to house critical equipment. To accommodate advanced digital and lab applications, we built new technical systems including: custom cooling and heating, site-specific generators, upgraded fire safety, risers and fume exhaust systems, enhanced elevators, acid-neutralized plumbing, and all new utilities. Providing a welcoming atmosphere for guests arriving from all over the world, we gut-renovated the property lobby, storefront, and rooftop event space.

Deerfield Management and its affiliate, Cure, intend to provide the lab and office space for budding scientists, research organizations, and investors in support of their work in advancing life science and digital health.
